The University has an important role to prepare their students with the knowledge they need in order to competently compete in professional activities after graduation. In addition to encourage students’ creative thinking skills in multimedia interactive projects, project-based learning aligns students’ views with the industry’s needs, since it gives students the opportunity to do the real world applications beyond the classroom. This paper intends to investigate the impact of project-based learning with collaborative learning on the academic achievement and learning motivation of undergraduate students who are taking Multimedia course. Data analysis were done using descriptive analysis. Based on the survey conducted by this study, most of the students agreed that collaborative learning could help them practice a set of skills that will be demanded by future employers such as creativity, working in group, problem solving techniques, leadership and the ability to generate innovative ideas. These skills help them leverage their interpersonal skills as well as having the knowledge they are learning in the university. The values obtained from the learning process will shape them as quality graduates to serve their future employers.

Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, smart applications and industrial revolution 4.0 have emerged and become part of today's world. Smart city is part of the revolution makes use of the smart technologies to improve the quality of life and performance of urban services such as transportation, public infrastructure and utilities. Malaysia is also taking this advantage to strengthen the infrastructure and connectivity concentrating in green technology, innovation, industrial development and city info structure. Kelantan state government has taken several initiatives to support the smart city implementation in Kota Bharu. Unfortunately, the progress of the initiatives seems to be quite slow compared to other cities in Malaysia. This conceptual paper discusses smart city concept in Malaysia and other countries as well. Kelantan state government may refer to this paper to set up policies regarding the development of Kota Bharu smart city. Generic architecture will be explained thoroughly in this paper. This paper highlights several critical success factors (CSFs) that determine the successful implementation of smart city project. Several examples of smart city applications will also be described.
Dengue is a viral infection disease transmitted by Aedes mosquitoes which can lead to fatality. The case study is conducted for Kota Bharu city which is the capital city of Kelantan State in Malaysia. Different areas in Kota Bharu recorded different number of cases. The aim of this study is to see whether there is a trend in age range for those who are infected by dengue. Data on dengue cases were obtained from Department of Health in Kelantan from 2015 until 2019. We have done descriptive analysis on range of age among the infected victims using R programming. The data visualization presented that the age range between 10 years old and 35 years old were the most common in area Kubang Kerian and Panji with 20.3% and 19.7% respectively. Nevertheless, gender did not have an effect on dengue. The mean age is 30.17 years and 28.38 years old for both areas correspondingly. Dengue outbreak was also affected by the age of victims and has a significant health problem primarily in adolescents and young adults. Public awareness and proper vector control are needed to keep the dengue cases low and to prevent outbreaks.
