The study aims to determine whether Budaya Alam Minangkabau subject is able to shape the character of students in accordance with Minangkabau cultural values. The selection of learning strategies, the availability of teaching materials, and learning media determines the success of students' character planting. A Mixed Method was carried out where the population of this study was elementary school teachers in Padang. Budaya Alam Minangkabau is taught in grades 4, 5, and 6. The numbers of elementary school teachers are 939. For quantitative data, a sample of 100 teachers was determined, while for qualitative data the headmaster and school supervisor were assigned. Based on the results of research that has been done, the subjects of the Budaya Alam Minangkabau play a role in the formation of character, namely the planting of cultural values, ethics, morals and local wisdom. Thus, students have a high sensitivity to the cultural values of the region in order to remain sustainable and not uprooted from its own cultural roots. The formation of character in students is a value education, character education, and formal education, character education that aims to develop the ability of all school members to provide good and bad decisions, exemplary, maintain what is good and realize goodness in everyday life to the fullest heart. Through Budaya Alam Minangkabau subjects, students are expected to be able to recognize and become familiar with their own natural, social and cultural environment. Students have the stock, abilities and skills as well as knowledge about the area that is useful for themselves and the community in general, and develop noble values of local culture in order to support national development.
Penelitian Pengembangan Multimedia Pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran PKN Kelas X di SMA 6 Padang yang dilatar belakangi karena siswa kurang tertarik untuk belajar PKN, guru mata pelajaran yang masih kurang optimal dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk multimedia menggunakan aplikasi Lectora Inspire pada mata pelajaran PKN kelas X SMA, dan mengetahui prosedur pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran yang dikembangkan layak atau tidak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran oleh guru dan peserta didik. Jenis penelitian iyang idigunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan yang disebut dengan istilah Research and Development(R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE. Pada model iini ada 5 tahap pengembangan yaitu tahap Analisis (Analysis), tahap Perancangan (Design), tahap Pengembangan (Development), tahap Penerapan (Implementation), dan tahap Evaluasi (Evaluation). Uji validitas dilakukan kepada 3 iorang yaitu 2 validator media dan 1 validator materi. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan kepada 30 responden yaitu peserta didik kelas X PKN di SMA Negeri 6 iPadang. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan mengakulasi persentase dari setiap sub variabel. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian oleh kedua validator media memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 4,78 yang dikategorikan “sangat ivalid”. Hasil validasi penilaian dari validator materi memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,8 iyang dikategorikan “sangat ivalid”. Hasi uji praktikalitas produk oleh peserta didik memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 4,42 yang dikategorikan “praktis”. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validitas dan praktikalitas produk maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk sudah memenuhi syarat sebagai media yang layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran PKN.
Universitas Terbuka is the 45th State University in Indonesia that implements open and distance education. Educational services are delivered through modules and internet-based media. Developments at technological cause internet-based electronic media to be more used. In the 2018.1 semesters, the number of UT students was 302,484 people at 38 UT Regional Offices throughout Indonesia and 2,099 students at 39 Countries. Generally, academic services provided by UT to students include services at 1) guidance from study programs with distance education models; 2) registration services; 3) student learning materials (modules and non-print teaching materials); 4) face-to-face and online tutorials; 5) learning assistance counselling services; and 6) evaluation of learning. The level of student satisfaction with UT's academic services needs to be measured regularly to maintain service quality. This research was conducted on UT students with a sample of 370 students from 13 UT Regional Office. Sampling is representative of students from the regions of Western Indonesia, Central Indonesia, and Eastern Indonesia. Data is processed using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). In general, the level of student satisfaction with distance education attributes is at the value of 90.20%. That is, students feel very good satisfaction with the services provided by UT include aspects of distance education study programs and models, registration, teaching materials (modules and non-print teaching materials), face-to-face tutorials and online tutorials, learning assistance counselling services, and evaluation learn. When examined in more detail, there are several aspects that are above or below the index value (90.20%), for example, the number of face-to-face Tutorial meetings 8 times in one semester and online Tutorials can be accessed easily. Analysis with CSI shows that 6,3% academic services are in quadrant A, 54,2% services are in quadrant B, 29,2% services are on quadrant C and 10,4% services on quadrant D.
This research develops learning media products in the form of Minang language story books for learning Minangkabau Natural Culture. This subject is one of the local content subjects at the Padang City Elementary School, West Sumatra Province. The development of this learning media is motivated by the learning needs of Minangkabau Natural Culture which does not yet have an alternative media in the learning process. This study uses a development research approach using the ADDIE model which consists of the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation stages. This research is very important to do because it sees the lack of learning media developed for Minangkabau Natural Culture subjects for elementary school students. The results showed that the developed learning media had a good usability level with an average score of 89.1%. Testing the effectiveness of the learning media also showed a score of 85.6% in the very good category. Thus, from the results of the development carried out, it can be concluded that the use of learning media can improve students' understanding and learning outcomes of Minangkabau Natural Culture Subjects in elementary schools.
This study aims to produce a product in the form of Prezi application learning media. This type of research is development research known as Research and Development (R&D), the development model used is the ADDIE model. The development procedures in this study consisted of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research instruments used were questionnaires, documentation, and assessment formats. Based on the results of the material validation, a value of 4.78 was obtained "Very Eligible" so that the material was declared fit for use, the results of the media validation I obtained a value of 4.5 "Very Eligible" and the validation of media experts II obtained a value of 4.65 "Very Eligible", so media is categorized as feasible to try. Furthermore, students' practicality trials obtained a value of 4.38 "Practical". Thus it can be concluded that Learning Media Using the Prezi Application in Social Science Subjects in Class VIII SMP is feasible and practical to use.
