CERNBox is the CERN cloud storage hub. It allows synchronizing and sharing files on all major desktop and mobile platforms (Linux, Windows, MacOSX, Android, iOS) aiming to provide universal access and offline availability to any data stored in the CERN EOS infrastructure. With more than 16000 users registered in the system, CERNBox has responded to the high demand in our diverse community to an easily and accessible cloud storage solution that also provides integration with other CERN services for big science: visualization tools, interactive data analysis and real-time collaborative editing. Collaborative authoring of documents is now becoming standard practice with public cloud services, and within CERNBox we are looking into several options: from the collaborative editing of shared office documents with different solutions (Microsoft, OnlyOffice, Collabora) to integrating mark-down as well as LaTeX editors, to exploring the evolution of Jupyter Notebooks towards collaborative editing, where the latter leverages on the existing SWAN Physics analysis service. We report on our experience managing this technology and applicable use-cases, also in a broader scientific and research context and its future evolution with highlights on the current development status and future road map. In particular we will highlight the future move to an architecture based on micro services to easily adapt and evolve the service to the technology and usage evolution, notably to unify CERN home directory services.

Η παρούσα διατριβή πραγματεύεται τη γλωσσική πρακτική των πολιτικών λόγων του Ιουλιανού. Εξετάζονται οι μηχανισμοί της συνεκτικότητας και της διακειμενικότητας και ερμηνεύονται αφενός μεν οι ρητορικές σχέσεις που υλοποιούν την πρώτη, αφετέρου δε η ιδεολογική λειτουργία των διακειμενικών πηγών. Ο συνδυασμός αυτών των δύο κειμενικών μηχανισμών στο πλαίσιο της Θεωρίας της Ρητορικής Δομής και της Κριτικής Ανάλυσης λόγου δίνει τη δυνατότητα να εξαχθούν χρήσιμα συμπεράσματα για το κείμενο, το περικείμενο των λόγων και για τον πολιτικό χαρακτήρα του Ιουλιανού.

We utilize various informal diagnostic assessment test arrays to ascertain the nature and extent of those difficulties to a student in the fourth grade, which is the subject of our research. Despite their reduced validity of such tests, the utility is great for shaping effective teaching strategies.Facts of the case study provide us with evidence that the deficiencies in visual and auditory perception of symphonic complexes, the conquest of phonological awareness and knowledge of basic concepts in mathematics. An integral part of our research is the development of individualized intervention program.

H παρούσα ποσοτική μελέτη περίπτωσης διερευνά τις απόψεις για το e-mentoring, σε σχέση με το πρόσωπο-με-πρόσωπο, στην υποδοχή και υποστήριξη των νεοεισερχομένων εκπαιδευτικών στο πλαίσιο της δημόσιας διοίκησης. Το δείγμα ήταν 155 άτομα με βολική δειγματοληψία από τον υπό μελέτη πληθυσμό των περίπου 350 νεοεισερχομένων στην πρωτοβάθμια εκπαίδευση της Ηλείας (2014-2017). Χρησιμοποιήθηκαν τα τεστ Pearson's chi-squared (χ²) και Spearman's rho σε επίπεδο στατιστικής σημαντικότητας α = 0,05. Όπως φαίνεται: α) οι περισσότεροι έχουν συγκεχυμένη εικόνα για την υποστήριξη-αξιολόγησή τους, β) υπάρχουν σε μεγαλύτερο βαθμό οι τεχνικές δυνατότητες σε σχέση με τις διοικητικές για την εισαγωγή του e-mentoring, γ) διαφωνούν με τον νέο θεσμό, δ) δεν θα τον επέλεγαν ως αποτελεσματικότερο και ε) το δείγμα είναι εξαιρετικά ομοιογενές. Προτείνεται η πιλοτική εφαρμογή του θεσμού, καθώς και να αναπτυχθεί περαιτέρω ο προβληματισμός για την ανοικτότητα στον δημόσιο τομέα.
