The purpose of the paper is to discuss the development of the theoretical approach to a rating of the opportunism between the principals and agents within the framework of the neo-institutional theory. The matrix of the opportunistic forms between the principals and agents designed. On the basis of the carried out experimental research of firms of the Ural region of Russia, such opportunistic forms of the agents such as flubbing, negligence, and malversation were investigated. The experimental dependences of an opportunistic level of the agents from a level of wages, level of non-financial stimulus, effectiveness of punishment, share of creative element of labor, and degree of labor specificity are defined. Purpose The purpose of this study is to specify cultural properties that influence inter-firm cooperation, advancing a conventional theoretical economic-based framework. Design/methodology/approach An evaluation of concepts related to parametric cultural assessment was the theoretical foundation for structural aspects of inter-firm collaboration, documented in an empirical study that investigates cross-cultural analysis. This study was based on research at a cross-national level, allowing cultural disparities to be captured. Therefore, the empirical basis was the sixth World Values Survey, which is the largest cross-national project for assessment of cultural values. Findings It was found that cultural properties, as freedom of choice; advancement of norms for equal dissemination of power; low perceived uncertainty; strategic orientation on the future; and spread norms of humanistic orientation would further develop inter-firm cooperation. Practical implications The current study specifies a systematic and practical definition of attributes in the culture of inter-firm collaboration. Advantages of such advanced frameworks are more sustainable collaboration models, decreased expenses of inter-firm coordination methods and possibilities for establishing network knowledge among collaborating firms – a necessity for competitive advantage in today’s global economy. Originality/value To the best of the authors’ knowledge, no previous research has been undertaken that specifies cultural properties influencing inter-firm cooperation, advancing a conventional theoretical economic-based framework.
In the spread of digital technologies, the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems based on social networks is considered to be a business development strategy contributing to the achievement of market leadership. The value of entrepreneurship ecosystems development is determined by the effects of using social networks.Our paper shows that the effects of using social networks may occur at different levels and may also be both positive and negative. At the microeconomic level using social media expands markets for products though causing an increase in competition among companies. Networking at the meso-economic level is a positive effect; however, there is a shift in industry proportions in the economy towards the services sector. And, finally, at the macroeconomic level using social media encourages the development of the domestic market, but this is accompanied by an increase in costs of control and maintenance of economic institutions. In addition, the strategy for the development of entrepreneurship ecosystems is to consider a regional and content differentiation of social networks. Furthermore, our paper analyzes a regional differentiation of social networks markets considering certain global and national features of their development. The analysis of a content differentiation included studying the development of field-specific sites of social networks.

ЭффЕКТы СОцИАльНых МЕдИА в цИфРОвОй ЭКОНОМИКЕ 4 Аннотация. Целью настоящего исследования является систематизация экономических эффектов использования социальных медиа в условиях формирования цифрового общества. В качестве объекта исследования были определены социальные медиа, предметом исследования выступили экономические отношения, формирующиеся в цифровой экономике при использовании социальных медиа. Для анализа теоретико-методологических подходов к анализу социальных медиа в системе экономических отношений мы использовали контент-анализ научных исследований в отечественной и зарубежной литературе, логический и сравнительный анализы. Дано определение социальных медиа как платформ для информационных коммуникаций, направленных на создание социальных сетей различного содержания. Проанализированы отдельные направления использования социальных медиа в экономических отношениях. Представлена авторская типология социальных медиа, в которой выделены глобальные и национальные социальные сети (Facebook, LinkedIn, «Однокласники, ВКонтакте», Qzone, Mixi, Copains d'avant), сайты обмена творчеством (YouTube, Instagram, Douban, Flickr), сайты совместного пользования (Wikipedia), мессенджеры (Skype, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram), блог-платформы и микроблоги (Twitter, LiveJournal, Sina Weibo, Ameba, Plurk). Выделены экономические эффекты использования социальных медиа. Определены как положительные, так и отрицательные воздействия на субъекты экономических отношений. Так, на миниэкономическом уровне использование социальных медиа снижает операционные издержки фирмы, а, с другой стороны, требует дополнительных финансовых и кадровых ресурсов для создания внутрифирменной корпоративной сети. На микроэкономическом уровне использование социальных медиа расширяет рынки сбыта продукции, с другой стороны-усиливается конкуренция между фирмами. Формирование сетей на мезоэкономическом уровне является положительным эффектом, но при этом происходит изменение отраслевых пропорций в экономике в сторону преобладания сферы услуг. И, наконец, на макроэкономическом уровне использование социальных медиа стимулирует развитие внутреннего рынка, но также возрастают издержки контроля и поддержания экономических институтов. Определено, что адекватным инструментарием анализа социальных медиа с позиций институциональной экономической теории выступает авторская концепция эконотроники.
