In connection with the deterioration of the health of the population, the negative demographic situation, frequent emergencies in Russia and around the world, etc., the discipline health and safety was introduced in all Russian universities. The modernization of modern education, which has been taking place in recent years in the country, is accompanied by a change in the standards of education. In the first generation FSES, health and safety was to form the competence possession of the basic methods of protection of production personnel and the population from the possible consequences of accidents, catastrophes, natural disasters. According to the FSES 3 + bachelors program was to establish general cultural competence OK-9 Ability to use first aid techniques, methods of protection in emergency situations. New FSES in 3++ expand the goals and objectives of the discipline. As a result of the development of health and safety should be formed universal competence of the UK-8 Able to create and maintain safe living conditions, including in case of emergencies. Thus, there was a need for the formation of young peoples motivation for a culture of safe life. The conscious need of society for safe behavior in everyday life, educational institution, at work, rest, allowing to preserve, strengthen their health, improve the quality of their lives and the lives of their loved ones, should become a vital need of every person. To form a universal competence of the future graduate of the University in solving real problems arising in life, we use a variety of interactive teaching methods: analysis of situational problems, game modeling, thematic debates, brainstorming. The use of various methodological techniques aimed at activating the cognitive and activity functions of the individual, contributes to the actualization of its value orientations, self-development and successful socialization in society, and ultimately, forms students culture of safe life.
In the article authors investigate the problem of readiness of students of the University for the perception of knowledge in the condition of digitalization. Due to the dramatic changing role of the Universities in rapidly developing high-tech environment there is a need for new educational technology, which can provide preparing of young people for life in modern informational society. The purpose of the study is to analyze the readiness of students of the University for the perception of knowledge in life safety in the period of distance education via Internet. Questionnaire survey covered 395 students (245 girls and 150 boys) of Samara University aged from 17 to 24, the research was done with using of Google Drive, section Forms. The research includes the analysis of managing of study and recreation by students, their physical health, changes caused by distance education and students` attitude to different forms of education. We revealed the readiness of students for awareness the necessity to obtain quality and full knowledge, time management that encourages the developing of responsible attitude to personal improvement, adaptation to changing living conditions. Organizers of educational process must provide digital educational platforms, improve and apply new educational learning technology taking into account unequal conditions for students in using the capabilities of the technical equipment. In order to keep all participants healthy it is necessary to take into account time spent for mastering curricula, to use actively digital technology for better messaging information and for checking knowledge when developing new forms and methods of teaching in the condition of digitalization. It is necessary to choose carefully the format of education because of the specificity of subjects. Academic discipline Life Safety includes enough specific training material that demands offline explanation. Especially it is necessary to attend practical classes which develop skills of first aid, behavior algorithms and emergency rescue. The authors conclude: а completely distance education will dramatically lower the quality of teaching, learning, getting necessary skills for students in their future daily and professional life.
Introduction. Currently, there is a deterioration trend in the health of the younger generation, in particular, an increasing number of persons with functional disorders of the cardiovascular system. Regarding this it is important to develop an comprehensive approach to the study of the circulatory indices in the young age with informative clinical diagnostic techniques and new ways to analyze the data. Material and methods. Heart rate variability (HRV) indices in 200 students at rest and during exercise were studied. For a more complete assessment of the functional reserves of cardiovascular system after the load the index of the normal heart rhythm restoration (SDNN) was calculated. Moreover, we built logistic models and curves of the operating characteristics. Results. At rest, no significant differences in indices of both HRV and autonomic regulation of heart rate have been identified between boys and girls aged of 16-18 years. Students of the different gender, aged of 19-22 years showed significant differences in spectral parameters of HRV, there was noted the dominance of the sympathetic component of heart rate regulation in boys and parasympathetic - in girls. In terms of physical activity in undergraduate students there is observed mainly the activation of vagal influences on the heart, in senior students the vegetative balance shifted to the direction of the increased activity of mechanisms of the sympathetic regulation. The revealed decrease of NHRR reflects the low level of the reserve capacity of the cardiovascular system in 41% out of observed students. Part of students with an increased probability of the reduction of functional cardiac disorders accounted for 42% of boys and 39% of girls among students aged 16-18 years and 36% of boys and 44% of girls among students aged of 19-22 years. Conclusion. There is a change in the nature of autonomous regulation of heart rate in students of different gender and ages from 16-18 to 19-22 years. The optimal cardiac response to stress test is observed at low baseline values of heart rate and the prevalence of the parasympathetic part of the autonomic regulation of the heart rate at rest. To assess the functional reserve of the cardiovascular system in HRV indices we recommend the calculation of NHRR and the analysis of the SDNN coefficient for the effective prediction of heart rate recovery rate after exercise testing.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
