This study aims to examine the impact of information technologies on the development of spiritual values of future teachers based on innovations in education. The research was carried out in the fall semester of 2021–2022. The study was conducted in a screening model with the participation of 306 prospective teachers attending their studies at various universities of Kazakhstan. In the research, pre-service teachers were given 4 weeks of distance education and training on information technologies. In the study, the ‘information technologies’ measurement tool developed by the researchers was used to collect data. The scale used in the research was delivered to and collected from the university students via the online method. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out using the t-test, and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. As a result of the research, it was found that pre-service teachers have a high degree of knowledge and degree of predisposition towards information technologies.

The aim of this study is to create an activity by means of technology integration in the foreign language learning of primary school students. A quantitative research method was used in the study. The research was conducted in the fall semester of 2021–2022. A total of 248 voluntary primary school students who continued their education in Kazakhstan participated in the study. In the study, 3 weeks of online education, English education and mobile technology education were provided to elementary school students. In the study, the ‘technology in education’ measurement tool developed by the researchers and compiled by experts in the field was used. The measurement tool was delivered and collected by online method to primary school students. The analysis of the data was carried out using the SPSS programme; frequency analysis was carried out with t-test; and the results obtained were added to the study accompanied by tables. According to the results of the research, it was concluded that the technology and foreign language learning status of primary school students was high and the technology status was high at the same time in their English education.

Educational and training institutions that ensure successful learning and diverse working life must implement problem-oriented analyses of the education system and form future self-education and positive activity skills of the individual. The article deals with historical trends in the development of educational institutions such as lyceums and gymnasiums in Kazakhstan. Data collection was in two parts. The first data collected was secondary data and it was used to analyze the current situation in education. The detailed theoretical analysis of literary sources reveals the peculiarities of formation of the structure of functioning of educational institutions, the analysis of the tendencies of implementation of innovative educational programs in the system of education is carried out. The primary data was collected using an experiment. Based on the data obtained as a special elective course for undergraduate students, the article describes the recommendations aimed at changing the educational system to deepen the historical and pedagogical peculiarities of the development of educational institutions of students.

The article discusses the research competence of learners as the component of modern updated content of primary education. In order to reveal the key concept of «research competence», the authors turned to the problems of research and cognition as such, and formulated the concept of learners’ «research competence» as the component of modern updated content of primary education. There is scientific discussion on the concepts of «competence» and «competency». The ways and means of forming the research competence of primary school learners are analysed. The structure of the research competence of primary school learners is made.
