The purpose of this work was to examine the effect of metabolic therapy on the dynamics of the main psychopathological symptoms and some indicators of cellular and humoral immunity in the patients with paranoid schizophrenia. The study was conducted involving 25 patients. In the first stage, the patients received conventional psycho-pharmacotherapy. In the second step, the patients received immune corrector, antioxidant and hyperbaric oxygenation with the antipsychotics. Psychopathological status was assessed according to the severity of the major symptoms (maps of Avrutsky G. Y., Zaitsev S. G.). Immune homeostasis was assessed according to 21 index characterizing the cellular and humoral defense. Indica-tors were assessed at admission, the 20th, the 40th day of treatment. On admission, hyper-activation of T-cell level and reducing T-suppressors were observed in the patients in the immune status, as well as symptoms productive prevailed in psychopathological status. The study shown that the correction of immune disorders by means of metabolic therapy allows to accelerate the reduction of psychiatric symptoms, to reduce the frequency and severity of side effects in con-ventional pharmacotherapy. Due to the results significantly expand notions of pharmacology of antipsychotic drugs, antioxidants, immune modulators, hyperbaric oxygen.
The purpose of this research was to study the peculiarities of psychopathological symptoms, humoral and cellular immune responses in patients with depressive disorders and neurotic psychotic levels. Simple, randomized comparative study in parallel groups involving 157 patients suffering from neurotic and reactive depression was carried out. The control group consisted of 50 healthy donors. Psychiatric symptoms were assessed by the modified cards Avrutskaya-Zaitsev and Hamilton scale. The study of cellular and humoral immune reactions was made by conventional methods. Patients with depressive disorders were observed with the criteria of the signs of depression HAM medium and high severity and unidirectional, but depending on the severity of the disease of varying severity changes in the immune system: inhibition of the oxygen - dependent systems neutrophils, hypo-immune globulinemia of G class, raising a total complement activity of serum, while with reactive depression immune dis-orders wore maladaptive nature, which manifested imbalance in systemic immunity – the load index and leuco – T – index. The study of the immune profile of patients showed that dysfunctional disorders of cellular and humoral immunity depends on the depth of psychopathological disorders. The role of the immune system in the pathogenic mechanisms of depressive disorders was shown. It is necessary in the scheme of the survey include the study of their immune status.
The purpose of this study was to identify prognostically unfavorable immune and endocrine development criteria hysterical disorders. The study involved patients with hysterical personality development, hysterical neurosis and healthy donors. Immunological reactions were performed by standard methods, hormonal - immune enzyme analysis. Changes in cellular and humoral immunity in the form of a reduction in the absolute number of T- and B-lymphocytes, decrease the metabolic activity of neutrophils, the ratio of circulating immune complexes of different molecular weight, and lower cortisol levels indicate the involvement of the immune endocrine reactions in the pathogenetic mechanisms of the development of the protracted forms of conversion disorders, and confirm the need for surveys of the immune and hormonal status of patients suffering from hysterical personality development. Identified by the authors the changes in neuro-immune-endocrine system can be regarded as a prognostically unfavorable in the development of hysterical disorders, and involve the use of immunomodulators in the treatment of these diseases.
This article presents the analysis of the dynamics of primary morbidity and prevalence of psychic disorders among the adult and children´s population of the Republic of Mordovia, according to registration form № 12 “Information about diseases, registered on the territory medical service organization" and to registration form № 30, "Information on the activities of the hospital". The list of possible causes and regularities of the dynamics of mental morbidity was identified. It is established that the level of mental disorders of non-psychotic character from 2007 to 2011, is higher by 1.5 times in the region than the average for the Russian Federation. There are breaches of the principle of continuity of outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services. The number of patients with first time diagnosed mental illness, taken on clinical supervision in the Republic of Mordovia, is lower by 2 times than in Russia on average. The authors note that the high level of neurotic in the region indicates a social determinism of non-psychotic mental disorders.
Objective: To study the therapeutic effects of mexidol, hyperbaric oxygenation and timogena in complex treatment of patients with neurotic personality development and its impact on quality of life of patients. Material and methods: The study included 142 patients with neurotic personality development. Patients of the first group were prescribed conventional therapy anxiolytic and antidepressant within 30 days. Patients of the second group were treated basic therapy and antioxidant immune correctors, sessions of hyperbaric oxygenation. Performance criteria for the final evaluation of the results of treatment were: reduction of the severity of psychiatric symptoms, improve mental and physical performance and social activity. Results: In patients with neurotic personality development identified physical and mental exhaustion, re-duced intentions, low productivity at work and social exclusion, which is reflected in low rates of quality of life in social relations and in the psychological realm. These symptoms on a background of traditional anxiolytic and antidepressant therapy didn’t cropped, but compounded undesirable actions of these drugs. Combined anxiolytic and antidepressant combination with hyperbaric oxygenation and antioxidant immune correctors demonstrate the effectiveness of the therapeutic effects of metabolic therapy, which is manifested in a significant improvement in physical, mental and social functioning of patients and improve their quality of life. Conclusions: The combination of paroxetine and diazepam with mexidol, hyperbaric oxygenation therapy, timogena can reduce the undesirable effects of antidepressants and benzodiazepine anxiolytics, increase efficiency of patients, their activity in communication, social inclusion and quality of life, indicating that the high efficacy and safety of this regimen.
