Abstract. The article reveals the latest trends in functioning of the agricultural sector in Russia and the factors influencing its further development. It describes the major initiatives of the state on the maintenance and creation of favourable conditions for the agroindustrial complex. In this regard, efficient management of economic and investment attractiveness is considered to be the most important issue. The authors present a construction of analytical function of investment trend modelling in agriculture, as well as the analysis of growth rates in investment and their influence on the volume of production and import of agricultural products in the Russian Federation in the long term.
We have studied the structural and magnetic properties of Tb(Fe 0.2 Mn 0.2 Co 0.2 Cr 0.2 Ni 0.2 )O 3 (T5BO) high-entropy oxide perovskite (HEOP) thin films. Using synchrotron-based x-ray absorption spectroscopy, employing x-ray magnetic circular dichroism, we performed an element-sensitive study of epitaxial T5BO thin films. The measurements reveal a magnetic multiphase with variable ferromagnetic ordering of all transition metal elements, providing a promising route towards designer ferroic properties in Tb-based HEOP thin films.
In this work, we investigate the structural and dynamic magnetic properties of yttrium iron garnet (YIG) films grown onto gadolinium gallium garnet (GGG) substrates with thin platinum, iridium, and gold spacer layers. Separation of the YIG film from the GGG substrate by a metal film strongly affects the crystalline structure of YIG and its magnetic damping. Despite the presence of structural defects, however, the YIG films exhibit a clear ferromagnetic resonance response. The ability to tune the magnetic damping without substantial changes to magnetization offers attractive prospects for the design of complex spin-wave conduits. We show that the insertion of a 1-nm-thick metal layer between YIG and GGG already increases the effective damping parameter enough to efficiently absorb spin waves. This bilayer structure can therefore be utilized for magnonic waveguide termination. Investigating the dispersionless propagation of spin-wave packets, we demonstrate that a damping unit consisting of the YIG/metal bilayers can dissipate incident spin-wave signals with reflection coefficient R < 0.1 at a distance comparable to the spatial width of the wave packet.
The impact of plasmonic surface lattice resonances on the magneto-optical properties and energy absorption efficiency has been studied in arrays of [Co/Gd/Pt] N multilayer nanodisks. Varying the light wavelength, the disk diameter, and the period of the array, it is demonstrated that surface lattice resonances allow all-optical single pulse switching of [Co/Gd/Pt] N nanodisk arrays with an energy 400% smaller than the energy needed to switch a continuous [Co/Gd/Pt] N film. Moreover, the magneto-optical Faraday effect is enhanced at the resonance condition by up to 5,000%. The influence of the disk diameter and array period on the amplitude, width and position of the surface lattice resonances is in qualitative agreement with theoretical calculations and opens the way to designing magnetic metasurfaces for all-optical magnetization switching applications.
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to evaluate and determine the effectiveness of university education on the economy of various countries. Design/methodology/approach To determine the necessity and expedience of making provision for the effectiveness of university education on the market economy, this work uses the method of regression and correlation analysis. Evaluation of effectiveness of the system of university education is performed separately for students, state, and employers by taking as example countries with specially developed formulas. Findings The authors substantiate the necessity for provision of effectiveness of university education on the market economy, view the effective system of university education as a basis for the development of a knowledge economy, determine approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of university education on the market economy, perform evaluation of effectiveness of the system of university education by the example of various countries, determine its connection with indicators of economic growth and development, and provide recommendations for provision of effectiveness of the system of university education on modern market economies. Practical implications The practical value of results of the conducted research consists in the possibility to use the developed formulas for determining the level of effectiveness of the system of university education on various countries of the world. Originality/value Theoretical value of this paper consists in the possibility for the application of authors’ conclusions and recommendations in the process of development of the policy of management of effectiveness of university education system.
