The article reflects the degree of adequacy of the use of G-distribution and the constructed mathematical model of adaptive control, which allows increasing the productivity of conveyor-ring milking machines of the “Karusel” type. This paper discusses the results of research on the process of milking a herd of cows on a carousel-type milking machine. Based on the methods of variational statistics the influence of the parameters of the statistical distribution of the duration of milking performance of a milking machine is studied, a theoretical analysis of the timeline of its work is carried out. Models and algorithms for adaptive speed control of milking pipeline with the use of specialized software, including the system of analytical calculations Maple are developed. This software allows you to perform analytical transformations of large amounts of information and display the results of calculations in tabular graphical form and in animation mode.
The study addresses the influence of milking duration of individual cows on the performance of conveyor-like rotary milking parlors and seeks to optimize their operation parameters and operating modes. The observational experiment was conducted in the Zhdanovsky Farm in Nizhny Novgorod Region, Russia. The dairy farm had a herd of 600 cows, divided into 10 groups by physiological characters and milk yield, and operated a 36 point milking parlor. Distribution of milking time of individual cows was studied using statistical analysis methods. The cyclogram of parlor operation and the functional connection of main parameters were analyzed using Maple analytical computing system, including its standard libraries and functions. The trends in idle time, which occurs due to undermilking of animals in one turn of the parlor, were studied. The idle time can result in overestimation of the number of stalls or decrease in the nameplate performance of the milking parlor by 30–40% from 120 to 93 cows per hour. Mathematical models, taking into account the influence of the milking time of individual animals (2 to 17 minutes) on the parameters of parlor operation, were developed. The algorithms of adaptive control over the rotational speed were proposed to minimize idle time in parlor operation and maintain the nameplate performance. The mathematical models, control algorithms and developed software can serves as a scientific basis for new designs of high-performance rotary milking parlors.
Cereals are an integral part of the feed rations of farm animals. When dry feeding, the grains are crushed. Grain grinding can be performed in various ways, such as crushing, splitting, abrasion, and impact. Different equipment is used for this purpose: roller machines, mills, gear, disk and hammer crushers, etc. In Russia, the most common method of grinding grain in hammer crushers. The advantages of hammer crushers include their high reliability, simplicity of design and maintenance, while the disadvantages are high energy consumption for grain grinding and uneven granulometric composition of the finished product. Due to these shortcomings, it is important to improve the design of crushers in order to increase their productivity and reduce specific energy consumption. We have proposed a grain crusher with an increased separating surface. To study the crusher, its structural and logical scheme and research methodology were developed. In accordance with the developed scheme, the influence of the sieve area on the quantitative and energy performance of the crusher was studied, which is the purpose of this work. The research methodology was developed and a prototype of the crusher was made. The conducted research allows us to conclude that it is necessary to change the conditions for entering grain into the grinding chamber by increasing the area of the loading window, installing a mechanism for forced grain feeding or feeding grain through the center of the rotor. The throughput of end sieves when using a rotor with straight hammers is by 2…38% higher than that of peripheral sieves.
