In current conditions it becomes necessary to develop guidelines for development of the national innovation systems and assessing their role in sustainable national socioeconomic development. In the conditions innovation development strategies should be focused on ensuring the competitiveness of economic entities, which can be done through innovation networks. The study enhances academic understanding of the factors of innovation transformation based on innovation networks, designed to ensure the involvement of large number of agents to contribute to the implementation of structural changes. In this paper authors analyze the main indicators of innovation networks impact and investigate the main aspects of innovation networks effects simulation. The hypothesis of the study deals with the assumption that the innovation development of the economic system at the present stage, in addition to stimulating the innovative activity of existing entities, deals with the formation of network structures. This research addresses the indicators for networks modeling by developing and testing a series of points indicating how networks affect economic growth. The foregoing discussion has attempted to innovation networks innovation potential assessing methodology based on indicators of the quantitative composition and dynamics of innovation potential to substantiate the viability of this organizational form in developing sectoral policies and technological priorities has been developed. The developed economic and mathematical model of innovation management network leads us to the conclusion that allows predict changes and form a targeted impact on factors when creating new intersectoral structures in order to increase the volume of innovation products.
The problems of food shortages through population growth, depletion of minerals, raw materials, mineral and energy resources, climate change, environmental pollution, etc. are solved by the bioeconomy, the narrative of which is the use of natural resources on a renewable basis in achieving sustainable development goals. Ukraine has significant knowledge, agro-industrial, forest, land and water potential for the introduction of biotechnology and sustainable bioeconomy, which includesthe production, exploitation and use of biological resources, processes and systems to provide products, processes and services across all economic sectors. The purpose of the article is to determine the directions of bioeconomy development taking into account the global and macroeconomic crisis caused by military actions on the territory of Ukraine. The research methodology involves the use of general scientific and specific methods used in economics, ecology and biotechnology, and is based on an interdisciplinary approach. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is to determine the directions of development of Ukrainian bioeconomy based on the use of biotechnology in food, agricultural, medical, pharmaceutical, industrial, environmental sphere, green energy, water management and forestry. Conclusions. The study found that Ukraine can create a sustainable, innovative, resource-efficient economy integrated into the world, which combines food security with the sustainable use of renewable energy sources and resources for industry. Biomass can replace fossil fuel products, and residues and waste, agricultural and forestry raw materials can be used to ensure environmentally friendly production. In the post-war period, the bioeconomy should be a priority to support Ukrainian economic recovery, as a sustainable bioeconomy returns resources to the real sector, creates jobs, promotes environmental production and consumption, and makes optimal use of limited resources on a circular basis. Keywords: bioeconomy, sustainable bioeconomy, biotechnology, biomass, postwar economic recovery
The best practices of the European Union in the formation of a sustainable bioeconomy should be implemented in the policy of Ukraine as an associate member of the EU.
This article is an attempt to expand a scientific discourse on building innovation potential of integrated business structures within the innovation processes at the macro-, meso- and microlevels. It is noted that a number of innovation aspects still lack clearness and lead to ambiguity in interpretations, whereas the role of intellectual assets is increasingly growing as a key driver for business development. Within the scope of this study, the innovation potential of integrated business structures is viewed as a set of potentials of business units involved, in their synergistic development, through the prism of creating and ensuring effective operation of all cluster participants in the current and strategic periods which in turn challenge for financial, human, technological, managerial and innovation resources to be employed to maximize the synergy of innovation capacity, and ultimately, to facilitate the creation of a robust framework for innovations / novelties at different levels. It is emphasized that in terms of exploring the innovation potential of integrated business structures, given the specifics of their activities, a critical objective is to assess the maturity of their development, since the evaluation of innovation potential will enable to identify the primary drivers of success and the key benefits as well as availability of product and technology innovation – all of that laying the foundations of gaining innovative competitiveness of integrated business structures overall. It is also noted that the strategies developed by integrated business structures to enhance manufacturing, economic, financial, personnel related or technological aspects of business activities and other important processes set the vectors of future effective performance and development and should rely upon creative, innovative approaches to meet various market and consumer needs. It is argued that a comprehensive assessment of the implementation of innovation potential of integrated business structures will unlock their current innovation potential and track its development trends and dynamics which might offer opportunities for further adjustments to boost innovation capacity for particular integrated business structures. The findings resume that innovative potential of integrated business structures covers the whole range of innovative resources able to enhance business performance and contribute to its optimization as well as provide opportunities to generate and implement innovations to gain strategic competitive advantages in the context of sustainable development. The proposed algorithm to evaluate the innovation potential of integrated business structures through the use of key assessment indicators will help build a desirability scale for the innovation potential indicators where the values of individual responses refer to a desirability range for integrated business structures. A conclusion is made that enterprise innovative development is a key driver in attaining a competitive edge whereas the innovation potential is an indicator that demonstrates company receptivity to change and innovation. Implementation of the above methodology provides important implications for further improving innovation performance of integrated business structures through forecasting their innovation capacity building along with promoting effective operational and development strategies.
