The article deals with various distance learning management system for pedagogical higher education institution. The most prominent distance learning management systems are mostly focused on: Moodle, WebCT, BlackBoard, eFront, Claroline, Metacoon, SharePoint LMS and Virtual University. Having analyzed the best platforms for creating of distance learning system in pedagogical higher education institution, it is stated that Moodle is leading according to the number of users. Moodle platform is a software suite for creating distance learning courses and websites that works with open source IMS and SCORM. As a result of the analysis and comparisons of the abovementioned platforms, based on pedagogical, didactic, organizational, technical, financial distance learning features, the distance learning management system in State Higher Educational Institution «Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi Hryhorii Skovoroda State Pedagogical University» on the basis of Moodle platform is developed. The platform works in different web browsers. There are no special requirements for hardware and operating system. Moodle platform can be installed on any server with any operating system using arbitrary databases. The platform is free for users. Moodle distance learning management system consists of 35 modules: Chat module, Task module, Forum module, Log module, Test module, Resource module, Research module, Seminar module and so on. Moodle distance learning management system enables distance learning in higher education at an affordable innovation level, creates a calendar of learning process events, creates formal algorithms for the teacher's activity in the educational process, thereby achieving a high level of interactivity and achievement of the required level of quality, skills.
The article demonstrates the expediency and ways of organizing distance training of future primary school teachers: forming theoretical knowledge and skills basis in students for the mastery and effective use of computer devices and information and communication technologies in professional activities and the fundamentals of information culture, information and communication competence; establishing a foundation for further mastery of teaching curriculum and technologies of distance learning in the area of primary education; as well as implementing the electronic learning courses Modern Information Technologies of Learning and The Fundamentals of Distance Learning in Primary School (developed at LMS Moodle). It is noted that the distance training of a future primary school teacher is an interdisciplinary pedagogic category that characterizes the degree of individualization, intensity and controllability, is subjected to the goals of the professional development of independent cognitive activities of teachers based on information and communication technology means with the indirect interaction (synchronous and asynchronous) with learning process participants located remotely from one another, under the supervision of a tutor. The readiness of the future primary school teacher to distance learning in the system of pedagogical education as an integral property of the individual, reflecting the comprehensive interaction of the motivational and value, cognitive and operational components, is determined. An experimental study was carried out; its results showed that the implementation of such distance courses into the educational process of experimental groups enabled a positive dynamics of the levels of future primary school teachers’ readiness to develop their own vocational and pedagogical competence in the conditions of distance learning. In the experimental groups of future primary school teachers compared with the control ones, the increase in the indicators of high readiness for distance learning was observed.
The article outlines the relevance of using cloud technologies in the process of training masters in informational technologies at the current stage of the development of information and computer technologies. The main problems and features of the educational process using cloud technologies in the context of introducing distance learning technologies in higher education institutions, which provide other means, methods, other ways of interaction between teachers and students, require special training of all participants in the educational process, operating the method of its implementation. To increase the efficiency of the educational process in the online environment, the authors revealed the features of the use of cloud technologies in distance learning in higher education, on the example of distance training courses for Masters, specialty 011 Educational, Pedagogical sciences on the education and professional program Educational Measurements at Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University. Particular attention is paid to the review of existing research on this topic, and its applications, to determine the impact of cloud computing on distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is achieved through the analysis of data that helped to analyze the trends in the study area. The authors consider the possibilities and problems of distance learning with the help of cloud services and reveal the transition from traditional lessons to online learning; highlight the impact of cloud technology on distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the study show key aspects of technology adaptation to this new global challenge and their level of efficiency that may help in the future. The study analyzed, systematized scientific sources on the research issues; identified the main problems that arise in the organization and implementation of cloud technologies in distance learning in higher education. The emphasis is placed on the differences between distance learning as a separate form of education and the introduction of cloud learning technologies in the educational process of higher education institutions. Currently, in the transition from distance learning to quality online education, when to implement the educational process in quarantine restrictions cloud technologies are being actively introduced, the question of how to ensure the effective organization and arrangement of the educational process needs to be studied and clarified.
У статті аналізується загальнонауковий підхід до типології моделей у теорії педагогічного моделювання, основні вимоги до них, функціональні ознаки. Виділено концептуальні положення, які використовуються науковцями під час моделювання педагогічних об’єктів. На основі аналізу організації дистанційного навчання у вищих навчальних закладах і з урахуванням можливостей застосування у системі неперервної освіти вчителів початкової школи спроектовано авторську модель дистанційного навчання у системі неперервної освіти вчителів початкової школи.
