This article summarises the methodological approaches, principles, methods, and tools of scientific knowledge inherent in a single complex research model of regional residential real estate markets competitiveness (RREM). The development and implementation of the proposed model can provide a deep regional analysis of component imbalances, and the implementation of the methodological steps can foster the comparative and targeted analysis of Ukrainian regions. The methodological tools of this complex study of the country's RREM as well as the strategic and tactical measures for its further regulation have been developed based on a comprehensive review of methodological principles and approaches. The basis of this study takes onto account general scientific and special knowledge of economic phenomena and processes. The scientific background developed was both empirical and theoretical. At the empirical level, observation, measurement, experiment and modelling were employed, while equal importance was placed on the special methodological principles involved. Achievement of the research goals required the use of such methods as: balance and index, decomposition, aggregation, analogous, logical, classification, ranking and extrapolation, expert evaluations and systematization along with a direct survey. In order to determine the level of regional housing market competitiveness, the implementation of future analytical assessments was carried out with regard to the following integrated factors: housing demand, housing supply, housing affordability, purchasing capacity of citizens, the region's comfort level, as well as certain geographical and cultural features of the region.

Innovative policy and regional management leverages should create the foundations for the “impulse” to form the Ukrainian market of natural gas and its distribution. Efficient and desirable economic reforms in the activity of the gas distribution companies of the Western region of Ukraine will contribute to increasing their competitiveness level by implementing innovative activities. The paper aims to make an integral estimation of the competitive positions of the gas distribution companies that function on the Western Ukrainian market of natural gas distribution among consumers and develop practical recommendations directed at forming and implementing the innovative policy of improving their competitiveness. To achieve the aim, the authors have developed the methodology of calculating the competitiveness level for the gas distribution companies that function on a certain natural gas distribution market of any scale. Based on the results of the conducted research, the paper shows that the competitiveness condition of most gas distribution companies of the Western region of Ukraine is either of critical – І or satisfactory – ІІ levels. Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that only AT “Chernivtsihaz” is characterized by the highest rate of competitiveness integral estimation among all the companies operating on the market of the natural gas distribution among consumers in the Western region of Ukraine. Therefore, it was identified as level ІІІ – “decent” level, which is the average competitive indicator.

The existence of an effective financial and economic security system, which will provide the protection of the enterprise from the threats is one of the most important aspect of sustainable business growth providing and formation of positive results of its financial activities in modern conditions of the economic processes imbalance. The search of the main ways of business acceleration with minimal expenses for forming of effective system of enterprises functioning aimed at maximization of profits and harmonization of relations between business stakeholders is very relevance in the conditions of post-crisis reconstruction.It should be taken into account the fact that production and economic systems, regardless of the form of ownership, are characterized by the presence of constant risk and threats associated with the dynamics of the external and internal environment of their functioning. The financial and economic security of a business depends on the state of the country's monetary security. It should also be noted that at present the financial security of Ukraine is under threat, since all components of ensuring financial and economic security are in danger.
