The article presents the results of theoretical analysis of the state of problem development of the managerial competence formation of future teachers of higher education institutions and heads of educational institutions. The information base of the research was a large number of dissertation and monographic works, articles, manuals, presented on the official website of the V.I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine.Achieving the goal of the article enabled to use the methods of comparative and retrospective analysis of pedagogical, economic, psychological sources from the research problem, which made it possible to determine the state of research problem in modern scientific discourse.
