“…The quenching of EY native fluorescence was found to occur not only through ion–pair complex formation, but also through dynamic quenching, 68 static quenching, 69 or fluorescence resonance energy transfer. To investigate the fluorescence quenching mechanism between EY and GNT, the Stern–Volmer equation was utilized.…”

“…These chelates can induce the fluorescence quenching of eosin Y upon the formation of ternary complex (Figure 4). Table 5 summarizes the use of ternary complex formation for determination of some basic compound (Omar, 2010;Abdellatef, 2007;el Walily, Belal & Bakry, 1996;Al-Tamimi, 2013;Kelani, Bebawy & Abdel-Fattah, 1999;Attia & Omar, 2016;Wu et al, 2017;Shi et al, 2016) through fluorescence quenching of eosin Y. Stern-Volmer equation was applied in several studies (Liu et al, 2008;Gan et al, 2012;Kaur & Malik, 2013;Wahba, El-Enany & Belal, 2015;Azmi et al, 2017) to investigate the mechanism of the fluorescence quenching due to the complex formation. All the mentioned reports agreed that the quenching process followed static mechanism as the quenching constants were greater than the highest reported value for dynamic quenching.…”

“…Quizalofop- p -ethyl has been widely used all over the world for high efficiency, low toxicity, low residue, and good selectivity and it meets the needs of users (Min, 2003; Shaw, 1994; Mahakavi et al, 2014). According to pesticide registration, there are few herbicides suitable for vegetable fields except dimethylpentylline. Therefore, quizalofop- p -ethyl can fill the gap (Gherekhloo, et al, 2011; Wu, et al, 2017). , However, treatment of wastewater from the production of the organic pesticide quizalofop- p -ethyl is still a difficult problem (Tang et al, 2014) …”
