A fluorometer on the basis of powerful light emitting diodes for determination of the chlorophyll “a” concentration

Abstract: A simple fluorometer for determination of the chlorophyll "a" (chl "a") concentration in an extract based on bright light emitting diodes (LEDs) in the blue and IR spectrum range used as a continuous excitation light source and light detector, respectively, has been described. Results of calibration and valida tion of the system's signal with the help of extracts with different chl "a" concentrations are presented.
