A Systematic Framework for the Design and Implementation of a Quality Management Practice: The Case of a Consulting Engineering Company

Abstract: In this article, we present a framework for the development of a quality management (QM) practice in a consulting engineering company based on the International Organisation of Standardization (ISO) 9000 and the 14000 series of standards. We describe a strategy to overcome internal barriers within the company by stimulating both top management and employee engagement.
