“…Subsequent studies have observed associations between ACEs and socially important outcomes as well as unmet social needs. These include job employment (Liu et al, 2013 ; Metzler et al, 2017 ), juvenile justice system involvement (Baglivio et al, 2015 ; Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, 2014 ), high school noncompletion (Metzler et al, 2017 ), disability (Austin et al, 2016 ; Campbell et al, 2016 ), and trust in the health system (Munoz et al, 2019 ).
