Alterações citológicas associadas à infecção pelo Papilomavirus humano em mulheres atendidas em um hospital

Abstract: O Papilomavírus Humano (HPV) é atualmente a principal causa de virose sexualmente transmissível, sendo sua principal consequência o câncer de colo de útero. Neste contexto, este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar as alterações citológicas em mulheres atendidas em um hospital. “…As found in the sociodemographic characterization of the participants, it was observed that the age group of the students varied amongst women from 18 to 24 years of age. Research conducted by Silva et al (2016a) showed that sexually active women aged between 18 and 30 years old are more common with HPV infection, and women aged 25 to 45 years old already had some type of lesion intraepithelial, and the incidence tends to decrease after 30 years of age.
