Cassava is one of Indonesia's local food which ranks third largest after paddy and corn. CentralJava Province ranks second in producing cassava in Indonesia. One of the regencies / cities that has thepotential to be developed in cassava farming is Karanganyar Regency. Karanganyar Regency has acassava variety called Jalak Towo. Jalak towo has a softer texture compared to other cassava.Thisstudy aim were determine the factors of production that affect the production of jalak towo cassava inKaranganyar Regency and its optimization analysis. The basic method used in this research wasdescriptive and analytical methods. The research location was Tawangmangu Subdistrict and JatiyosoSubdistrict as sub-districts producing jalak towo cassava in Karanganyar Regency. Sampling in thisstudy using a random sampling method with a total of 60 respondents consisting of 30 people at eachlocation. Data analysis methods used include: cobb-douglas production function analysis, varyingmodel parameter analysis and optimization analysis. The results of this study indicate that the factorsthat influence the production of jalak towo cassava are land area, experience, manure, urea fertilizer,age of the farmer, and location. Production factors that affect cassava production from the analysis ofvarying model parameters in Kec. Tawangmangu is the area ofland, manure, urea fertilizer, age of the farmer, and labor, while in Kec. Jatiyoso is land area and age. The results of the optimization analysisshowed that the combination of the use of production factors in Tawangmangu and Jatiyoso Subistrictsware not optimal.

Usahatani padi di Desa Kutukan dijalankan pada dua jenis lahan yang berbeda yaitu lahan irigasi dan tadah hujan. Perbedaan lahan ini akan mengakibatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas berbeda. Produktivitas yang tinggi menunjukkan bahwa usahatani efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Membandingkan pendapatan usahatani padi; (2) Membandingkan efisiensi usahatani; (3) Mengetahui faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi produktivitas padi; serta (4) mengetahui perbedaan penggunaan faktor produksi pada usahatani padi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan, analisis efisiensi dan analisis faktor produksi dengan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas. Teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan tehnik accidental sampling untuk lahan irigasi dengan responden sebanyak 30 petani sedangkan untuk lahan tadah hujan karena responden hanya ada 25 sehingga sampel diambil dengan metode sensus. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa produktivitas padi lahan irigasi dan lahan tadah hujan masing-masing sebesar 74,12 Kw/Ha dan 59,17 Kw/Ha. Pendapatan usahatani padi lahan irigasi lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan usahatani padi lahan tadah hujan. Efisiensi usahatani padi lahan irigasi dan lahan tadah hujan tidak berbeda nyata dan masing-masing memiliki efisiensi sebesar R/C rasio 2,43 dan R/C rasio 2,38. Produktivitas padi di Desa Kutukan dipengaruhi oleh jenis lahan, jumlah pupuk urea dan tenaga kerja. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dalam penggunaan bibit, urea, dan pestisida, sedangkan penggunaan SP36 dan tenaga kerja tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Penggunaan bibit dan urea pada lahan tadah hujan lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan lahan irigasi dan penggunaan pestisida pada lahan irigasi lebih tinggi daripada lahan tadah hujan.

The present study was aimed to analyze the levels of technical and allocative efficiency of the usage of CPO production factors in PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari. The data being used was primary and secondary data. The data analysis to measure technical efficiency was Cobb-Douglas frontier production function and production elasticity value, while allocative efficiency was analyzed using NPMxi to Hxi ratio. The research result showed that fresh fruit bunch (TBS), indirect labor (TKTDL), and fiber (FB) had significant positive effect on CPO production in PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari, while direct labor (TKL), solar fuel (SR), CaCO3, and Nalco N 8507 (N8507) didn’t have significant positive or negative effect on CPO production in PT. Sandabi Indah Lestari. Fresh fruit bunch (TBS), indirect labor (TKTDL), and fiber (FB) were technically efficient (0<EP<1). Conversely, allocatively fresh fruit bunch (TBS), indirect labor (TKTDL), and fiber (FB) were’nt efficient (NPMxi/Hxi>1).
