The problem of human character, especially the younger generation, in this case students has become the main concern of the Indonesian nation. It is not only related to the sad empirical condition of the current national character, but also to the condition of the values of Pancasila, which should be the identity of the nation's character. The aims of this study to analyze the values of character education at the Kompas Pencak Silat Academy. This research uses qualitative approach. Sources of information in this study can be classified into 2 (two) types, namely primary data, namely a collection of information obtained directly from the research location through the first source (respondents or informants, through interviews) and secondary data, namely data used to support primary data. The stages of data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The results of the study show character values in pencak silat by caring for the training ground first, making sure that the training area is clean of garbage or so on before and after training, tidying up the items that have been used to their original places. In its establishment, this College of Kompas experienced ups and downs in the 1990-2000s and this college still upholds character values.

“…The research was conducted on Pencak Silat Athletes of the True Satria College, with indicators related to education being (1) I feel confident in participating in competitions classified by level of education, (2) I feel that the level of education affects the results of the competition, (3) I feel I have more abilities by my educational status, and (4) even though my education is only high school but I am still confident about participating in competitions. The results of the study show that the level of confidence when competing is more influenced by the components contained in external factors, namely education, profession, and the environment (Aguss & Fahrizqi, 2020).…”

The success of becoming a national athlete cannot be separated from various aspects which influence it, they are internal aspects, coaching and training, social environment, family, education, sociocultural, and other factors. The purpose of this research is to identify the national athlete profiles from their socio-economic and educational aspects. This research was categorized into descriptive qualitative research involving eight participants from national athletes in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. The results of the study showed that the social attitude of the athlete's achievements was due to their disciplines, high willpower, determination to win, self-confidence, fighting, hard work, perseverance, patience, and prayer. In addition, based on the economic aspects, the athletes have the opportunity to become civil servants; get some money, land lots, and a house; be more convenient to choose a school; and have the opportunity to go Hajj and travel abroad. The research also showed that most of them are high school graduates, some are still in college and some of them are college graduates. As national athletes, they must be able to manage the time between training and studying, especially when they are taking part in training camps and matches.

Minimnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar bahasa Bali menyebabkan peserta didik tidak tertarik untuk belajar bahasa Bali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menciptakan buku cerita bergambar dwibahasa Bali-Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal yang layak dan efektif digunakan oleh siswa kelas V SD. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah ahli isi, media, dan desain pembelajaran, serta 2 guru dan 20 siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes, angket, wawancara, dan observasi. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif, deskriptif kualitatatif, statistik deskriptif, dan statistik inferensial untuk menganalisis data. Hasil persentase yang diperoleh adalah 98,44% dari uji ahli isi pembelajaran, 98 % dari uji ahli media pembelajaran, 100 % dari uji ahli desain pembelajaran, 98,75 dari uji coba perorangan oleh guru, 99,2 % dari uji coba perorangan oleh siswa, 97,8 % dari uji coba kelompok kecil, dan 96,87 % dari uji coba lapangan yang keseluruhan persentase skornya masuk ke dalam kriteria sangat baik. Kemudian uji efektivitas melalui uji-t dependent memeroleh nilai thitung = 6,689, sedangkan nilai ttabel = 2,086. Berarti nilai thitung > ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku cerita bergambar dwibahasa Bali-Indonesia berbasis kearifan lokal pembelajaran bahasa Bali materi satua Bali layak dan efektif untuk diterapkan pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk yang mampu memotivasi peserta didik untuk belajar bahasa Bali.
