Analysis of mutual interference in UMTS/IMT-2000 mixed-mode scenarios

Abstract: In this paper the results of a spectral compatibility investigation is presented. The mutual interference situations between the different UTRA-modes and between UTRA-FDD and PHS are described in detail for different scenarios. Some values for the ACIR (Adjacent Channel Interference Ratio) are obtained as a function of the power control gain. Finally, the results of system-level simulations using the monte-carlo technique are given.
