Anatomical and histochemical aspects of the peach palm (Bactris gasipaes Kunth) seed

Abstract: Bactris gasipaes Kunth (peach palm) is a palm tree (Arecaceae) widely used by Amazon people, whose seeds have dormancy of unknown cause, which result in difficulties on producing uniform seedlings.
