“…FIBTEM analysis is insensitive to heparin up to 6 IU ml 21 . 23 Interpretation of measurements at 20 min before CPB removal should consider these effects. The plasma fibrinogen levels observed after surgery corroborate previous data from cardiovascular surgery, 8 24 25 and reflect fibrinogen's role as an acute-phase protein.…”

“…Схожие данные приводят в своих работах M. Mittermayr et al [8] и R. Gertler et al [9], при этом авторы описывают влияние протамина ис-ключительно на внешний путь коагуляционного каскада. В другой работе M. Mittermayr et al [10] приводит данные о влиянии протамина в до-зировке 1,6 ЕД/мл на оба пути коагуляционного каскада.…”

“…The effect of protamine on platelet receptors stimulated by ADP and TRAP has been studied before but the results are not consistent and varies between receptors. Lindblad et al 36 was not able to find a relation between protamine and platelet activation whereas Gertler et al 6 found that both ADP and TRAP induced platelet activation was reduced by protamine. Griffin et al 4 suggested that protamine alone or in excess of heparin have similar antiplatelet effects and that excessive protamine directly contributes to platelet dysfunction.…”

“…Previous studies has suggested that the interaction between the heparin-protamine complex and platelets can affect platelet aggregation 128 . Platelet function could be affected at different heparin-protamine ratios 6 , and excessive protamine has been suggested to contribute to the dysfunction 34,129 . How and to what extent protamine itself affects platelet aggregation is not very well studied.…”
