“…The results of the present study were better than that of the national baseline study (87%), 14 and other reports (27.7%, 35.5%), 20 , 21 but comparable with that of other studies which reported 93–99.2%. 4 , 8 , 10 , 15 , 16 , 23 Prescribing by generic name helps the pharmacy department for better inventory management and they are relatively economical and accessible.
