Bacterial activity in the hind‐gut of pigs

Abstract: Zusammenfassung Die bakterielle Aktivität im Caecum und Colon der Schweine. 2. Der Einfluß auf die scheinbare Verdaulichkeit des Stickstoffes und der Aminosäuren 16 kastrierte männliche Schweine, mit einem Gewicht von 90 kg, wurden in 4 Gruppen eingeteilt und mit einem auf Gerste basierenden Futter mit 25 % Mais‐ oder Kartoffelstärke — mit oder ohne Beigabe des Antibiotikums Nebacitin — gefüttert.
