Balanced multiwavelets with optimum time–frequency resolution

Abstract: Communicated by T. QianBalanced multiwavelets with optimum time-frequency resolution are discussed in this paper, which are balanced of at least one order and at same time possess the optimum time-frequency resolution. On the basis of lattice structure of causal FIR lossless systems, some balanced with optimum time-frequency resolution are constructed.
