Araştırma özel gereksinimli 80 ve normal gelişim gösteren 20 olmak üzere toplam 100 katılımcı ile yapılmıştır. Özel gereksinimli grup özel öğrenme güçlüğü yaşayan 20, fiziksel özel gereksinimli 20, down sendromlu 20, ve işitme özel gereksinimli 20 çocuktan oluştu. The objective of the present study is to analyze the relationship between physical education and sports teacher candidates’ academic self-efficacy and attitudes towards the course of sports history. The population of the present study consists of 240 junior and senior teacher candidates studying at School of Physical Education and Sports at Yozgat Bozok University and Faculty of Sports Sciences at Erciyes University and Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. The sample group consists of 138 participants randomly selected from the population. A Personal Information Form developed by the researcher, academic self-efficacy scale developed by Jerusalem and Schwarzer (1981) and adapted to Turkish context by Yılmaz, Gürçay, and Ekici (2007), and the attitude scale towards the course of sports history developed by Yılmaz, Namlı, and Kan (2013) were used for data collection. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using a personal computer. Numbers, percentages, mean values and standard deviations were used as descriptive statistical methods in the data analysis. Pearson correlation analysis was applied to the continuous variables of the study. As a result, a positive correlation was found between physical education teacher candidates’ self-efficacy and attitudes towards the course of sports history. It can be suggested that this tendency stems from teacher candidates’ academic development during their education as a university student, which is a transition to a professional life, and their belief in the importance of transferring their academic development to younger generations during their professional career.

Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de Antrenman, Antrenörlük, Antrenör Eğitimi ve Antrenman Bilimi alanında yapılan gelişmeleri Tarihsel, Kavramsal ve Yapısal yönlerden incelemektir. Yöntem olarak ilgili ve ulaşılabilir literatür incelenmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Gelişmeler, sergilenen olay ve konular 1932 yılı öncesi, 1932 ve 1974 yılları arası, 1974 ve 1981, 1981 ve 1992, 1992 ve 2013 ve 2013 sonrası yılları ile günümüze kadar altı evreye ayrılarak incelenmiştir. İlk üniversiter yapı, beden eğitimi öğretmeni yetiştirmek için 1932’de kurulan Gazi Beden Terbiyesi Enstitüsü ele alınmıştır. Antrenörlük ve antrenmanla ilgili ilk yasanın 1938 yılında çıktığı, 1974’te “Beden Eğitimi”nden “Spor Bilimi”ne geçildiği, 1981 yılında “Yüksek Öğrenim Kurumu”nun (YÖK) kurulması ile üniversitelerin yeniden yapılanması içerisinde yeni bir anlayışla “Beden Eğitimi ve Spor” yapılanması, bununla birlikte anabilim dalı anlayışı ve lisans üstü eğitime geçilebildiği görülmektedir. 1987’de ilk antrenör yönetmeliği ve antrenör eğitimi yasa ile belirlenmiş, üniversitelerin beden eğitimi ve spor bölümlerinden mezunların antrenörlük yapabilecekleri belirtilmiştir. Yüksekokullaşmanın 1992’de meydana geldiği, bununla birlikte diğer ülkelerdeki benzerleri gibi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği, Antrenörlük Eğitimi, Spor Yöneticiliği, Rekreasyon ve Spor Bilimleri bölümlerinin kurulduğu ve çok hızlı bir okullaşmanın olduğu görülmektedir. 2013 yılında fakülteleşmenin olduğu ve 108 Spor Eğitimi veren üniversiteden 67’nin Spor Bilimleri Fakültesine dönüştüğü; 97 üniversitede antrenör eğitimi bulunduğu, 29 devlet üniversitesinde antrenör eğitiminde ikinci öğretim bulunduğu görülmektedir. 8 üniversitede “Egzersiz ve Spor Bilimleri” bölümü bulunmaktadır ve bunların bir kısmı antrenör eğitimi vermektedir. Bir kısım üniversiteler uzaktan eğitim yapmalarına rağmen uygulama becerisi gerektiren antrenörlük eğitimini mezuniyette verdikleri, isimleri farklı olmakla birlikte aynı eğitimi veren bölümler olduğu, aynı bölüm ve programlar için bazı üniversitelerin merkezi yerleştirme bazı üniversitelerin ise aynı zamanda özel yetenekle öğrenci aldıkları, bazı üniversitelerin lisans üstü eğitime de özel yetenekle öğrenci aldıkları görülmektedir. Türkiye’den hiçbir üniversitenin dünya sıralamasında ilk 120 üniversite içerisine girmediği görülmektedir.
