Carboxylic Acid Derivatives of 3‐Alkylthio‐5‐amino‐ and 3‐Alkylsulfonyl‐5‐amino‐l,2,4‐triazoles

Abstract

The carbamats (2)–(4), which are required for biological investigations, are not accesible by acylation of the aminotriazoles (1) as shown by a series of unsuccessful attempts at their synthesis (R and R′ = alkyl or aryl). Rather, the carbamic acid moiety has to be introduced at the heterocycle synthesis stage.
