“…Murrell et al reported that a 12-week aerobic exercise training program significantly increased middle cerebral artery blood velocity (MCAv) in young (mean age: 23 ± 5 years) and older (mean age: 63 ± 5 years) participants [6], while Ainslie et al reported that regular aerobic-endurance exercises were significantly correlated with high MCAv in men aged 18–79 years [7]. Studies that have examined changes in MCAv with regular exercise in children and/or adolescents during their growth period are limited; previous studies in this regard were limited to specific conditions, such as vasovagal syncope [8,9]. …”

“…W celu utrzymania homeostazy organizmu aktywowany zostaje na drodze łuku odruchowego układ parasympatyczny, którego zadaniem jest zwolnienie rytmu serca i obniżenie ciśnienia. W przypadku nadmiernej aktywności układu autonomicznego dochodzi do zbyt silnego spadku częstości pracy serca, a nawet do asystolii i obniżenia ciśnienia tętniczego do wartości nieoznaczalnych (15)(16)(17) . W typie centralnym omdlenia dochodzi do prowokacji reakcji wazowagalnej w ośrodkach kory mózgowej i podwzgórza poprzez pobudzenie włókien czuciowych w szczególnych sytuacjach klinicznych, np.…”

“…In order to maintain homeostasis the parasympathetic system is activated by way of a reflex arc to decrease the heart rate and blood pressure. If the activity of the autonomous system is too strong, the heart rate drops too low, even down to asystole and the arterial blood pressure decreases to a point when it is unmeasurable (15)(16)(17) . In the central type of syncope a vasovagal reaction is triggered in the cerebral cortex and hypothalamus centres by stimulating sensory fibres in specific clinical situations, e.g.…”
