CFD Simulation of Thermo- Aerodynamic Interaction in a System Human-Cloth-Environment Under Very Low Temperature and Wind Conditions

Abstract: Abstract. The paper presents study of coupled aerodynamic and thermodynamic interaction between human body and environment under low temperature and wind conditions. The passive heating or the prescribed heat flux model is used to model the metabolic heat release by human body. The heat flux is selected from the condition that the surface temperatures take experimental values for certain environmental conditions.
