The aim of this study was to determine the uniform preferences of chefs and their satisfaction with the performance and comfort characteristics of chef jackets using a questionnaire. In conclusion, it was observed that the jackets with 100% cotton, whitecolored, long-sleeved, snap fasteners, and mandarin collar were preferred more by chefs. The characteristics that the participants were least satisfied in their chef jackets were their protectiveness, stain-resistance, absorbency, and flexibility properties. On the other hand, the participants gave the highest mean scores for ease to put on and take off and non-irritating features of their jackets.
