“…The occurrence of this phenomenon may be related to the self-adaptation of tinnitus patients [ 31 ]. There were significant differences in pairwise comparison among the three groups of RI, and the correlation analysis between RI and T-MIST showed a moderate correlation, which was the same as the previous scholars' conclusion [ 32 ]. At the same time, in the multiple logistic regression model, we found that only RI was an independent positive predictor of T-MIST treatment, which complements the gaps in previous studies.…”

“…This result is associated with the stresses of daily life for the young that are likely to make their tinnitus symptoms worse (Seydel et al 2013; Hall et al 2016). Moreover, younger patients with tinnitus undergoing treatment may have better coping capabilities for tinnitus and stronger compensatory cortex function when compared with older subjects (Hall et al 2016; Yan et al 2021). Further studies could be carried out to investigate the mechanism of this correlation.…”

“…A primer (idiopathiás) eseteknél közvetlen kiváltó ok nem definiálható, illetve ebbe a csoportba sorolhatók azok a fülzúgástípusok, amelyek sensorineuralis halláscsökkenéshez társulnak [7]. A tinnitus a legtöbb esetben szubjektív, tehát csak a beteg által hallható; a jóval ritkább objektív esetekben a vizsgálószemélyzet is érzékeli, például fonendoszkóppal történő ráhallgatással -ennek háttere lehet Eustach-fülkürt-diszfunkció, temporomandibularis ízületi eltérések, myoclonus vagy vascularis eltérések (pulzatilis forma) [8].…”
