Abstract:Unprovoked seizures represent a challenge in the neurological clinical consult. Identifying a first unprovoked seizure is the first step for an adequate medical approach, for which there are different diagnostic tools that help establish the risk of a second seizure, as well as recurrence factors for a first unprovoked epileptic seizure (UES) or diagnose epilepsy.
