Comparison of the Essential Oil Composition ofStachys trinervisAitch. & Hemsl. andStachys subaphyllaRech. F

Abstract: The essential oils obtained from the aerial parts of Stachys trinervis Aitch. & Hemsl. and Stachys subaphylla Rech. F. were analysed by using GC and GC-MS. Sixteen compounds representing 95.43 % of S. trinervis oil were identified. The main ones were α-pinene (42.68 %), δ-2-carene (31.90 %), 1,8-cineole (7.03 %), limonene (4.39 %) and (Z)-β-ocimene (4.21 %).
