Concanavalin A Promotes Adherence of Salmonella typhimurium to Small Intestinal Mucosa of Rats

Abstract: A number of dietary lectins have been shown to resist proteolytic digestion. These lectins interact with the small intestinal mucosa causing structural and functional changes.
