Barrientos (2011), con el método de datos panel propuesto por Barro y Sala-i-Martin, divide la muestra (1900-2007) en acordes con los principales eventos de la historia latinoamericana y agrupa los países según sus características (clubes de convergencia). Los resultados del tercer periodo muestran convergencia absoluta y condicional para los tres clubes (países con buenas instituciones, con procesos dolorosos y países vulnerables).…”
