Crew roster scheduling by the extended cooperative genetic algorithm

Abstract

SUMMARYA hybrid scheme that combines an annealing method and an extended cooperative genetic algorithm (cGA) obtained by treating the problem of scheduling a flight crew roster as a multiobjective problem is proposed. The setting of the problem of scheduling of an airplane operating crew roster and the construction of the solution method for multiobjective optimization are discussed and the efficacy of the scheme proposed is verified.
