Science and Technology Parks (STPs) are of great importance in the business context of the region in which they carry out their activity. They are one of the main mechanisms of public and private initiatives for the promotion of research, development and innovation and transfer of technology. The main purpose of this type of institution is not a purely economic but also sociocultural benefit, which makes them an adequate investment from the point of view of public institutions. They promote the creation of companies and agreements with universities and research centers, generate jobs and attract technology-based companies. Therefore, they require a detailed assessment to understand their operation and generate action plans and models that new parks or those that are still in the early stages of growth may follow. Thus, this study focuses on identifying the main Critical Success Factors (CSFs) for STPs from a literature review and evaluating the importance of the main variables that appear in the literature on the advancement of STPs to group them according to its operational characteristics.

The purpose of this paper is to study whether business incubation can contribute to the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) internationalization. As the main objective of BI is to increase the survival of new firms, to achieve this goal they need to support them in foreign trade for their rational growth and development which will make them to succeed in their contribution of entrepreneurship development. In this globalized environment, it is becoming necessary to do business worldwide especially, to protect the firms from resource adequacy. In this study, we analysed few empirical research related to SME internationalization with a perspective to identify the available antecedents and outcomes which would make the enterprises beneficial as well as to become sustainable in the market. While, many past studies have measured the services of incubation with various factors like network, social capital, firm’s performance, funding, human resource, etc., there are very few studies that has looked into the process of internationalization of incubated firms. Hence, there is a need for review of literature in this context, to find out the consequences of BI towards internationalization and the survival of the SMEs, which is its ultimate goal. It is also useful for the researchers to build a framework with respect to the measurement of business incubation internationalization process. de São Paulo, São Paulo, 2016.Os Parques Tecnológicos têm se mostrado estratégias de desenvolvimento alinhadas a busca constante pela competitividade, ferramentas usadas por cidades, regiões e países em busca de sustentabilidade, auxiliando no fortalecimento tecnológico e na inserção na economia do conhecimento. Nesses centros de inovação, a produção, disseminação e uso do conhecimento são intensivos, e sua gestão torna-se imperiosa. Sendo assim, a Gestão do Conhecimento vem atender essa necessidade, e embora ela tenha alcançado um estágio consolidado como campo de pesquisa, a sua relação com os Parques Tecnológicos tem sido pouco explorada na literatura. Fundamentado na análise e reflexão dessas lacunas de pesquisa, este trabalho visa propor um conjunto de diretrizes para o desenvolvimento da Gestão do Conhecimento em Parques Tecnológicos. Para tal fim, foi desenvolvido e aplicado um instrumento de coleta de dados em cinco Parque Tecnológicos, sendo quatro no Brasil e um na Espanha. Os estudos de caso selecionados foram analisados, identificando iniciativas.
