Endometrial carcinoma (EC) is one of the most common gynecological malignancies. Its incidence rate has been increasing year by year. The prognostic factors and treatment strategies of EC have aroused wide concern. The effects of peritoneal cytology on the prognosis and treatment of EC remain controversial. Some factors, such as differentiation degree, muscle invasion, and tumor size, are related to positive peritoneal cytology. Hysteroscopy is commonly used in the diagnosis and treatment of endometrial cancer, but hysteroscopic surgery may cause the tumor to spread into the abdominal cavity, resulting in positive peritoneal cytology. In this review, we discuss the factors related to positive peritoneal cytology and the influence of positive peritoneal cytology on the prognosis of endometrial cancer. Suspicious positive peritoneal cytology may be an independent risk factor for endometrial cancer. The positive rate of peritoneal tumor cells in type II endometrial cancer is higher than other cells and is an independent risk factor for type II endometrial cancer. We also discuss the effects of peritoneal cytology on treatment decisions. Aggressive treatments seem to be more beneficial for patients with positive ascites cytology, but there is a lack of large-scale prospective clinical studies on their effectiveness and safety. The application of peritoneal cytology for endometrial cancer has been decreased in recent years. We believe that peritoneal cytology is necessary for this type of cancer. However, more studies on peritoneal cytology in endometrial cancer should be carried out.

Endometrial carcinoma (EnCa) is one of the deadliest gynecological malignancies. The purpose of the current study was to develop an immune-related lncRNA prognostic signature for EnCa. In the current research, a series of systematic bioinformatics analyses were conducted to develop a novel immune-related lncRNA prognostic signature to predict disease-free survival (DFS) and response to immunotherapy and chemotherapy in EnCa. Based on the newly developed signature, immune status and mutational loading between high-and low-risk groups were also compared. A novel 13-lncRNA signature associated with DFS of EnCa patients was ultimately developed using systematic bioinformatics analyses. The prognostic signature allowed us to distinguish samples with different risks with relatively high accuracy. In addition, univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses confirmed that the signature was an independent factor for predicting DFS in EnCa. Moreover, a predictive nomogram combined with the risk signature and clinical stage was constructed to accurately predict 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-year DFS of EnCa patients. Additionally, EnCa patients with different levels of risk had markedly different immune statuses and mutational loadings. Our findings indicate that the immune-related 13-lncRNA signature is a promising classifier for prognosis and response to immunotherapy and chemotherapy for EnCa.

According to the WHO report, there are about 500,000 new cervical cancer patients in the world every year, second only to breast cancer. Therefore, it is essential to study the pathogenic factors of cervical cancer and prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer. In recent years, the author analyzed the pathogenic factors of cervical cancer and targeted therapies for cervical cancer prevention in domestic and foreign literature and found that cervical erosion, sexual behaviour, education level, and economic status are high-risk pathogenic factors. Human papillomavirus, Cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus type 2 is its microbial pathogenic factors and other pathogenic factors, including genetic changes and hormones. Targeted therapy provides a new direction for the treatment of cervical cancer, but most of them are targeted. The drug is still in phase I or phase II clinical trials, and according to analysis, it is suggested that women should actively learn medical knowledge and other related knowledge.
