Daily intake of food additives in Japan in five age groups estimated by the market basket method

Abstract: The daily intake of 106 food additives (measured as 43 compounds) by five age groups (small children, children, youths, adults, and aged) was estimated. The estimation was based on the concentrations of the compounds in the food mixtures of seven categories consisting of 246 foods by the market basket method.
