Smart systems are characterized by their efficiency, high accuracy, and cost reduction. One of the important fields in which the smart system is used is health care, especially monitoring of human vital signs. In general, the conventional patient monitor is expensive, cannot be used for remote monitoring, and non-interactive. In many situations, it requires remote and portable monitoring for patients, such as in case of the area is outside the medical services, infected diseases (e.g., 20), and difficulties of a patient transferred. This paper proposes a smart, interactive, and portable monitor for vital human signs based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The proposed monitor is cheap and easy to use either directly by doctors and nurses or remotely by any person. The proposed system is designed using ESP32microcontroller and vital-sign sensors. It measures three important vital signs, including heart rate, body temperature, and Electrocardiography (ECG), as well as the environment temperature of the patient. The measured signs can be monitored from anywhere in the world through a smartphone application in real-time. Furthermore, the doctor can send instructions and descriptions to the patients in real-time using the same phone application that is designed in this work.

Rapid technological development, triggering various applications development that are increasingly innovative. One of them is the Internet of Things (IoT) system that makes human works easier and more effective. Along with sensor technology development in monitoring and controlling through IoT systems, a mechanism is needed to manage bandwidth so that IoT system can function optimally, especially in buildings designated as public areas. Smart building supported by various integrated sensors to maintain safety and comfort in the area. This study proposes the application of Elastic WLAN as a model for dynamic bandwidth management in IoT systems. In this model, IoT bandwidth changes automatically according to the number of traffic measurements for each IoT connected to the network As an effort to determine the performance of the elastic WLAN mechanism, this study succeeded in developing a prototype IoT device that implements Elastic WLAN on an Access-Point Raspberry Pi by using two temperature sensors placed in separate locations. The system successfully allocates bandwidth to each IoT according to the amount of data input from each temperature sensor installed. The higher the amount of data captured by the sensor, the system will automatically allocate the higher bandwidth to the sensor system, and vice versa.

<span lang="EN-US">The recent advances in electronics and microelectronics devices allow the development of newly low-cost monitoring tools used by peoples for health preventive purposes. Sensors used in medical equipments convert various forms of human body vital signs into electrical signals. Therefore, the healthcare monitoring systems considering non-invasive and wearable sensors with integrated communication mediums allow an efficient solution to live a comfortable home life. This paper presents the remote monitoring of human body temperature (HBT) wirelessly by means of Arduino controller with different sensors and open source internet connection. The proposed monitoring system uses an internet network via wireless fieldity (wifi) connection to be linked with online portal on smart phone or computer. The proposed system is comprised of an Arduino controller, LM-35 (S1), MLX-90614 (S2) temperature sensors and ESP-wifi shield module. The obtained result has shown that real time temperature monitoring data can be transferred to authentic observer by utilizing internet of things (IoT) applications. The findings from this research indicates that the difference of average temperature in between Sensor S1 and S2 is about 15 <sup>0</sup>C</span>
