Diagnose nutricional e qualidade de mudas de <em>Psidium cattleianum</em> var. <em>cattleianum</em> Sabine em diferentes substratos

Abstract: The objective of the research was to evaluate the effect of different substrates with sewage sludge on nutrients concentration in biomass of Psidium cattleianum var. cattleianum Sabine seedlings. The treatments are different substrate compositions containing sewage sludge. After 180 days of seeding, biometric characteristics were measured: aerial part height, root system length, stem base diameter, number of leaves, fresh and dry aerial biomass, root and total biomass. Dickson's Quality Index was calcu… Show more

“…In the production of P. cattleianum Sabine var. cattleianum seedlings, with the same SS content was found similar results for the content of N and S in the aerial part and root (Gonçalves et al, 2020). Similar to our study, S content was the lowest with other forest species using SS as substrate (Camargo et al, 2013;Santos et al, 2019;Melo et al, 2021).…”

“…Treatments T3 and T4 have higher values of S in the aerial part and K and S in root system. There was also an oscillation of K and S in the aerial part of the plant, whereas they decreased in the root in the study of Gonçalves et al (2020). Santos and Lima (2020) conclude that the content of N, P, K, and Ca in leaf structures is significant in seedlings grown in substrates with organic derivatives.…”
