The article discusses the original remote testing system of students BonTest, created on the basis of the Department of Safety for Life and Activity of the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University ETU “LETI”. As part of the “digital economy” formation, the education system faces new challenges. Electronic and distance learning of students requires the creation of new software products integrated into the digital educational environment of the educational institution. The BonTest testing system provides the ability to automatically generate options and upload test results in MS Office Word, MS Office Excel formats, as well as provide statistical data on student progress by academic semesters, groups, types of classes and course topics. The teacher’s interface allows you to control access to testing, customize the parameters for passing the test and displaying the results, including the errors of each student. The test is available both in the classroom from computers (Microsoft Windows operating system) or smartphones (iOS or Android operating systems), and in a remote format. The program has a two-stage protection against unauthorized access; its database contains more than 3 thousand test questions. Currently, the BonTest system is widely used in the educational process at the department. Its main advantages are simplicity and efficiency of administration when solving technical issues; no failures or reduced response time of the system as a result of increased load on the server, the ability to promptly refine the program toolkit for emerging requests, as well as the ability to store an extensive database of test questions.

The article presents an analytical review of the COVID-19 pandemic impact on the education system subjects. The results of analytical reviews, surveys and research of leading universities, sociological agencies and research foundations of Russia and other countries of the world are summarized. Both positive and negative aspects of the influence of distance learning are considered. It is noted that, in general, the Russian pedagogical community has coped with the abrupt closure of schools and the transition to remote formats. Despite some difficulties, teachers managed to finish the school year, did not allow disruptions in passing the unified state exams and achieved satisfactory results. An analytical review of open sources shows that students and parents have overcome the difficulties of switching to distance learning in different ways: from experiencing joy to objective feelings about the quality of education received. However, in general, the results obtained prove that Russian education is focused on the future, capable of implementing the strategic tasks set by the government and overcoming difficulties.
The purpose of the study is to build an innovative educational model of a digital school based on an analysis of the best practices in using digital technologies in the educational activities of the school. The study analyzes the practical experience of the leading schools of Russia implementing various digitalization projects at their educational sites. The main results of the study characterize the components of the digital school model in the (a) targets, (b) software and technology, (c) content-methodological, and (d) evaluativereflective blocks. The authors state that school digitalization is basically a system of measures (a) to create an electronic digital school management system, to develop the school's digital base; (b) to create an innovative electronic information and educational environment; (c) to implement network educational programs; (d) to develop digital competences in teachers and digital literacy in students. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the integrity of the approach to understanding the essence of the digital school and determining its role in the digital transformation of the economy in Russia. 1.
