The pandemic corona virus 2019 (COVID-19) has become an international concern and poses challenges to psychological resilience in all fields, one of which is education. Therefore an effective learning strategy is needed to deal with this pandemic. The purpose of this study was to survey students spread across various universities in Indonesia and Malaysia regarding e-learning systems conducted during the COVID-19 outbreak in Indonesia and Malaysia in 2020, e-learning systems starting from student knowledge about e-learning, planning elearning, implementing e-learning until evaluating e-learning activities. Data will be used for future reference. This research is a descriptive study with cross sectional approach. The Likert scale survey method is used with a total of 136 student respondents from tertiary institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. The results of the analysis show that students know e-learning as a distance learning system in dealing with the current pandemic corona virus, 51% expressed agreement related to e-learning preparation, 38% stated neutral in e-learning planning and 68% stated neutral in evaluating the implementation of e-learning. Student assessment and good perception about e-learning play a big role in the implementation of learning with e-learning. E-learning has a positive impact and has become an alternative learning process for lecturers and students. Good preparation is needed in implementing e-learning so that e-learning activities can be carried out effectively. Interaction can be developed and limited conditions through face-to-face meetings can be answered through e-learning activities.

The authors of the paper have developed and proposed the structure of the educational program service (hereinafter referred to as the “EPS”) during the transition of the educational process in 2019-2020 to a new level (training is currently taking place both offline and online). The use of this system implies an increase in labor protection for EPS employees, the quality of the educational process in educational institutions of higher education (hereinafter referred to as the “Educational organizations”), simplification of work for the teaching staff, which should be consolidated at the state level. The necessity of using this structure in educational institutions of higher education has been substantiated; the concepts and principles of EPS work have been proposed. The authors of the study propose to provide for this structure both at the federal and at the local levels, thereby carrying out labor and legal protection of EPS employees.

People is changing. Technology is changing. Economy is changing. Society is changing. Education is changig. In the Industry 4.0 the digitalization and VR, AR, CPS, IoT, ICT, AI assures higher precisions, higher productivity, mass customisation, less waste, and less pollution and contributes to the society change. All the applied and ready to apply technologies receive digital component, as result of the rapid development of information and communication technology. The main objective of the paper is to see in specialized literature what are the skills required by Industry 4.0 (I.4.0), what are the means associated with the concept of Education 4.0 (E.4.0) to obtain them, and to what extent education systems are adapting to these new requirements, which are constantly changing. In addition, it is presented the current situation regarding education perspective and some directions of action, and at the end, a number of conclusions focused on what we could do to all benefit from technological progress in industry as well as in education.
