Interaction of [MoO 2 (acac) 2 ] with internally functionalized oximes like HON=C(CH 3 )Ar (Ar = C 4 H 3 S, C 4 H 3 O or C 5 H 4 N) and Schiff's Bases derived from β – diketones like HOC(R)CHC(R′)=NC 6 H 5 (R = R’ = CH 3 or C 6 H 5 ; R = CH 3 and R’ = C 6 H 5 ) led to the formation of yellow dioxomolybdenum(VI) complexes of the type [MoO 2 {ON=C(CH 3 )Ar} 2 ] and [MoO 2 {OC(R)CHC(R′)=NC 6 H 5 } 2 ]. Oximes were synthesized by green methodology. The newly synthesized complexes were characterized on basis of elemental analysis and various spectral findings. Anticandidal activity of [MoO 2 {ON=C(CH 3 )C 6 H 4 N} 2 ] clearly reveals that the complex is biologically active against fungal diseases.

Using di-2-furanylethanedione and 5-bromo-3-methylbenzene-1,2-diamine we prepared a monomeric [MoO2(SL)] with a Schiff base, as well as 4 different compounds using the formulation [MoO2(MSL). We investigate how [MoO2(SL)] reacts with 1,3-diketones. Several characterizations are discussed in this article, including molar conductance measurement, elemental analysis, UV-Vis, IR, NMR, and thermal measurements. Molybdenum has a six-coordination number. All five MoO2(VI) compounds have distorted octahedral arrangements. Molybdenum octahedra have four N-atoms and two oxidized O-atoms. Against S. aureus and S. typhi, all synthesized compounds showed moderate activity. The chelation hypothesis is used to define the progression of the antibacterial task.

Purpose: To synthesize novel pyrazolone fused thiazolidinone analogues and evaluate their efficiency as potent HER2 and EGFR inhibitors in human breast adenocarcinoma cells for anti-cancer activity. Method: In this study, several pyrazolone fused thiazolidinone analogues were synthesized, and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and mass spectroscopy, as well as tested for their in vitro cytotoxicity against breast cancer cell line (MCF-7) by MTT assay. A correlation study of the cytotoxicity was performed to obtain the Docking score using Schrodinger (Maestro) Version 9.6 Glide XP software. Result: A total of 10 compounds were synthesised and analysed for their physiochemical, spectral, and cytotoxic activity against breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7). Among the synthesised compounds, compound 4B5 showed significantly higher (p < 0.05) anticancer properties against MCF-7 cell lines with docking score of -6.614, and half-maximal concentration (IC50) value of 001.17 M compared to other synthesized compounds of the same categories. Conclusion: Novel pyrazolone-fused thiazolidinone analogues have been successfully synthesized. The synthesised compounds possess anti-cancer activity against the MCF-7 cell lines. This could potentially lead to the development of new anti-breast cancer agents.
