Discussions and Comparisons between Comprehensive Harmonic Detection and Specific Harmonic Detection in a Shunt Active Filter for Installation on a Power Distribution System

Abstract: This paper deals with harmonic voltage detection methods for a shunt active filter intended for installation on a power distribution system. The active filter acts as a resistor to damp out harmonic propagation throughout the power distribution system.
