Disseminated American Cutaneous Leishmaniasis

Abstract: Diffuse cutaneous leishmaniasis can be caused also by Leishmania venezuelensis. Patients with nodular lesions who presented a negative Montenegro skin test were more resistant to treatment with specific pentavalent antimonials.
