“…Yılmaz and Güven (2015) obtained opinions from 150 pre-service teachers and reached the conclusion that the metaphors created by preservice teachers for distance education were grouped under categories such as need-oriented, diversity, voluntary, necessity. In addition, Tuncay and Özçınar (2009) worked with 12 preservice ICT teachers. It is seen that the teacher candidates perceive distance education as an ocean whose bottom is unknown, as they are afraid of a new education method.…”
