Early detection of microcomedones induced by cocoa butter using reflectance confocal microscopy

Abstract: Background Many ingredients used in cosmetics evoke a comedogenic response. The concept of ‘‘acne cosmetica’’ was developed to link the use of certain ingredients to comedone formation.
