The 21st century is the information age. The ever-changing information technology not only affects the development of the global economy, but also has an important impact on the field of education and personnel training. Under the influence of information technology, the way people acquire, impart, and evaluate knowledge has changed greatly. The educational concepts, models, and methods of the new era are fundamentally different from traditional education, which provides new opportunities and new challenges for the education and teaching work of contemporary teachers. This paper aims to discuss the application of augmented reality technology in volleyball teaching, and give an effective method for AR to be applied to volleyball teaching. In this paper, the existing AR teaching system has the problem of poor transmission rate and cannot cooperate with volleyball teaching well. Therefore, a wireless communication auxiliary algorithm based on intelligent reflective surface is proposed. And the current situation of volleyball teaching is investigated and analyzed. And in response to the survey results, 78% of the students supported teachers in applying AR technology to assist teaching in volleyball teaching classes. This fully shows that there is still a lot of application space for AR technology in current volleyball teaching.

Developing Augmented Reality (AR) as Assisted Technology in Reading Based on Content-Language Integrated Learning

Assisted technology has become one of the primary needs for inclusive education, especially for language learning. Language learning mediated by technology can provide affordances to EFL learners with low English language skills. Therefore, an assisted technology with content-language integrated learning was developed with the ADDIE approach to producing meaningful and motivational language learning with a dual focus, namely content and language. The materials presented in the assisted technology were developed stick to the Line-of-Sight by the Branch model (2009), which covers needs, goals, strategies, and assessment. The technology and material development result were named assisted technology-enhanced language learning (ATELL) and created with a marker-based augmented reality application. The AR application is an assisted technology for reading comprehension skills that guide the students in critical thinking for critical reading activities. The findings of the study show that students who read with the AR application performed better than those who read with the traditional method. The students also reported that they have a positive perception of the integration of the AR application for language learning for several attributes such as technology interactivity, compatibility, learning ambience, and cognitive condition.

Digital tools is widely used in language teaching around the world. Pandemic Covid-19 had pushed the education to opt for hybrid system which enable the lecture session to be done in online and also face to face interaction. Vocabulary is important in improving the four main skills such as reading, writing, speaking and listening. Limited vocabulary make the students to depend too much to translation. Hence, this paper presents a systematic review of relevant published studies on the use of digital tools to improve Vocabulary Acquisition from the year 2011 until 2021. This systematic review strives to focus on how digital tools aid the learners in vocabulary acquisition and what are the advantages of using digital tools. The result shows that the use of digital tools will improve vocabulary acquisition. This paper report the limitation and recommendations that focus on vocabulary acquisition through the use of digital tools.
